Surf!!! Family Vacation Day 2012

There's lots of relaxing, surfing, and sand castle building going on. Rhett has become an all-time sand castle stomping champion....and surfer dude, of course! That's all in between his singing outbursts of the Elmo's song...la la la-la Elmo's song!

On the agenda for today- Nothing really! We're thinking about doing a little beach time and then heading to Duck, NC for dinner.

Fun Beach Day

We're all in Carova Beach this weekend with our Alabama family! It's so cool- I don't want to miss a thing. Today, out on the beach, I was thinking (bc that's what you do- stare & think) about being 8 months pregnant in a baiting suit! Yikes! Then I figured out that I'm really only 7 months, feels like 8, looks like 9... If I could toast an alcoholic drink it'd be to the next 84 days carrying this sweet girl! It's hard but oh so worth it!

Then I was thinking about how every girl needs a sister! I-yi-yi...

29 weeks!!!!

Carly is the size of a butternut squash this week and I feel huge! She's moving around a lot and making me very very sleepy!

Rhett is diggin his new big boy bed and staying busy as you can see!

28 Weeks 5 Days...80 Days to go!

Today I took the dreaded glucose test! I must say the orange is waaaaay better than the red! It feels like a real milestone in this pregnancy- what's 80, days right?!?! I stopped by Macy's on the way home and bought her a few outfits for September and a sweet little orange dress for October.

It's feeling a lot more real now that she has a name too! We've been calling her Carly Rose more and more... I like the nickname Carly Rosebud!

In other news- I cannot get enough watermelon, pop tarts, and WATER!
