October Rocktober!

Kindles can be used for enjoying a book, a pretty magazine, or as a hat! Everyone should buy one for it’s fashionable feature.
This is what the guys got me for my 31st birthday. I haven’t uploaded a book yet, but I’m thinking about finding out what the hype is all about with Harry Potter. Maybe even Twilight. Or maybe the Boy who went to heaven? book. The sky is the limit when all you have to do is push a button! This is a great gift.
In other news, Rhett got his first skateboarding lesson today.

He went all the way down the driveway! Go Rhett!

Beautiful weather has allowed us to play outside all weekend. We had some dear friends come into town over the weekend. Our sweet little neighbor boys loved having other kids around… my favorite part is that they all rotated yards. They played
everywhere!

Neptune Festival 2011

Fall is in the air so, naturally, we went to look at sand castles!

The Neptune Festival is something we do every year. This year Rhett was a dancing machine! Every time the sound of music floated our way he’s have to break it down. He has this new “swinging arm” move that goes great with his bobble head jive. His Granddaddy says “sometimes the music just takes him.” There’s no better way to explain it!

15 months is a fun age! He plays chasing games, laughs out loud all the time, and is getting cute little teeth. He’s sleeping through the night (well, when his teeth aren’t hurting) and enjoying his time playing with other kids at day school. He’s a super explorer and wants to toddle all over the house. Snack cups and remote controls might just be his favorite things right now!!! Oh, and Daddy and Granddaddy… he’s a huge fan!

Our Visit to the Zoo!!!

We had so much fun on this pretty fall day! We went to the zoo to celebrate a few of our neighbors birthdays. A bunch of the other neighbor kids where there so it was real neat to share our first zoo experience with them. Norfolk Zoo is pretty cool- I was really impressed with the fancy habitats and, to be honest, how empty it was today. Everyone else stayed home and Rhett ran free!
