We Closed!
It's a Thanksgiving we'll never forget! We closed on a beautiful home! We feel so blessed that it doesn't seem real.
Opening the front door today brought tears to my eyes! I cant believe it happened. We discovered this house by going to the estate sale and now, just a few short months later, we have the keys! Wow.
So- there we were- Dennis and I walked in, popped open a drink, sat against the wall in the empty great room, clinked glasses and the door bell rings... A box addressed to ME?!? No Way! Our Christmas cards arrived right on cue! What a magical few minutes- that sealed the deal- we had mail & someone else knew we lived there- we were home!
Let the adventure begin!

Carly Rose
9 weeks old already! Wow! She's little Miss Bright Eyes- makes lots of faces, goo's and coo's, and still sooo easy and calm!
Today we are headed to the eye doctor for her left eye (I think). One of her eyes is weaker than the other so says the pediatrician but it's so slight I forget which one.
Rhett has started to refer to Carly as 'my sister' a lot. He still doesn't want to hold her but does a good job of shoving the pacifier in her mouth and turning on her shaky chair.
Me- 2 kids are a total game changer! I'm getting the hang of it but I thing I'm just mostly excepting 'the crazy.'
